The Red Pyramid

I read this book because I had to read it for book club at school, I personally thought it was ok but all the rest of the people in my group loved it and would probably rate it higher than I am going to.
Sadie and Carter Kane were once fairly normal children, but when their dad destroys the Rosetta Stone using magic, their whole lives change. Cater And Sadie Set out on a mission to save a world they never knew existed, and along the way the befriend and make mortal enemies with Egyptian Gods. Will Sadie and Carter survive? Or will even the world survive this clash of two worlds?
